Toyota to Provide a Matching Grant of $10,000, for a Total of $20,000
Scottsdale, AZ – August 1, 2012 – Right Toyota announced four donations in the amounts of $2,500 each to four local charities. Home “fur” Good, CASS, POSA and Crisis Nursery of Phoenix also received a matching contribution from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.  The total donation to these local charities is $20,000.

The four charities are as follows:

Crisis Nursery of Phoenix - The funds from Toyota will be use to help purchase supplies for the FACES new pre-school room for 3 and 4 year olds; which Crisis Nursery will open Aug 1, 2012. FACES have an Early Head Start (EHS) program for children birth thru 3 yrs of age. Currently, 84 children low-income at-risk children in zip codes 85006 and 85008 are being served. Yearly we will serve over 161 children. The new classroom will serve and additional 15 children per day and up to 30 during the fiscal year.

Police officers of Scottsdale Associates (P.O.S.A) - Our objective is to help underprivileged kids have a holiday they will always remember and to meet police officers who will hopefully change their attitude about law enforcement and help them realize that officers are there to help them, not hurt them. Many of these kids only see police when bad things are happening to their family. This program tries to break down those barriers.

Home ‘Fur’ Good Animal Rescue and Placement - Rescues temporarily homeless dogs and cats that either get turned in by their owners or are found as stays within Maricopa County. Their focus is placed heavily on those dogs and cats that are on the euthanasia list, due to either being sick or injured or have minor behavior issues. Once we claim the animals from the County facility, our goal is to provide whatever medical or social needs are necessary to help them regain their health, both physical and emotional.

Central Arizona Shelter Services Inc (CASS) - The contribution will be used to service homeless men, women and children with their dental needs. CASS Dental Clinic is a full service dental clinic that provides crowns, bridges, fillings,RCT’s and dentures to the underserved populations.

“Right Toyota has been proud to be a part of the Scottsdale community since 1999” said Jane D’Amelio, Community Relations Manger of Right Toyota. “Throughout that time, we’ve supported the community in many ways: We have been a proud sponsor of the 911 Healing fields Memorial for the past 9 years, Police Officers of Scottsdale community partner for supporting their children’s charities like “Shop with a Cop and Packs to School program”.

Currently we have a silent auction displayed in our showrooms with all proceeds going to Home ‘Fur’ Good no kill animal shelter and low cost clinic.  We will also be having an “Adopt-a-ton” adoption day on August 11, 2012 at Right Toyota to help support this amazing charity and spread the word on the need for forever homes for the hundreds of pets currently in shelters. We are one of the first non- animal related businesses to host an adoption day on site.
